A story about a traveler from Samaria who helps an injured man who has been robbed and beaten. While a priest and a Levite pass by without helping, the Samaritan, traditionally an enemy of the Jews, stops to care for him, demonstrating that compassion should transcend social and religious boundaries. The core message is to love your neighbor as yourself, defining 'neighbor' as anyone in need.
This parable tells of a father with two sons. The younger son asks for his inheritance, leaves home, and squanders his fortune. Facing destitution, he returns home, expecting to be disowned. Instead, his father welcomes him with a celebration. It is a powerful story about divine forgiveness, redemption, and the unconditional love of God, emphasizing that it is never too late to repent and return.
A farmer sows seed, which falls on four types of ground. Some falls on the path and is eaten by birds; some on rocky ground, where it springs up but withers in the sun; some among thorns, which choke it; and some on good soil, where it produces a great crop. Jesus explained the seed as the word of God and the soils as different human hearts' responses to it, illustrating how understanding and acceptance are key to spiritual growth.

Resurrection & Legacy
The cornerstone of Christian belief is the resurrection of Jesus three days after his crucifixion. This event signified victory over death and is the foundation of the Christian faith. His teachings and the story of his life and sacrifice went on to form the basis of Christianity, which has grown to become the world's largest religion, profoundly shaping art, culture, law, and ethics for over two millennia.
Following his resurrection, the Gospels describe Jesus appearing to his disciples over a period of 40 days before ascending to heaven. He commissioned them to "go and make disciples of all nations," an instruction known as the Great Commission, which launched the spread of his message across the globe.
The legacy of Jesus is immense. His ethical teachings, such as the Sermon on the Mount, continue to influence billions. The religion founded in his name has been a major force in history, inspiring countless acts of charity, the founding of universities and hospitals, and the creation of some of the world's most celebrated art and music.
